Simon is a professional photographer primarily specialising in music and events. However, Covid and lockdowns forced change in his photography over this period and he gives an account of how he approached this huge challenge. He covers some of his first work in a home studio, including high speed water drop photography, macro, still life and some Photoshop special effects. Then when we were allowed out, some night time photography in places where he was not going to bump into anyone. This includes landscape astrophotography (star trails and a moon rise over The Needles, Isle of Wight) plus photos of London when it was deserted in the early hours. I detail how I learned the techniques for all of these and give examples.
